Young children’s empathy towards robot dog in relative to stuffed toy dog

This study examined young children’s empathy towards interacted entity and none agent, whether the interaction or appearance of agent is more relevant on empathy, entities include an robot, a stuffed toy dog stone. Preschoolers (5-6 years age, N=69) watched videos three agents, including introducing cuts, struck by human hands placing in box cuts. All these agents are non-living entities, robot with metal surface, non-interacted (appearance alike real dog), The preschoolers were required to ask list questions obtain data indicating their each agent. results revealed that children ascribe anthropomorphism relative dog, while both have no significance difference.
